Celery soup

Every once in awhile when there's nothing much in my fridge, I will just go with the flow. I found celery and onions and leafy veg that I had no idea what is it called. I had also a loaf of french bread that I really need to finish up before it goes bad.
My decision was soup...

Simple as it is... I sweat onions in butter and olive oil, sauteed the chopped celery and season with salt and pepper. Next, I add water to cover the celery and 2 cloves of garlic and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
Then to the blender...
Finally, finished with sweet soy sauce and olive oil on top, freshly chopped vegetables, and toasted french bread.
